Things are finally looking up so here are a few advancements.
A venue/place is pretty much set. We just need to talk to the people in charge and make sure it's ok.
A screening schedule is in the works.
The staff is essentially built.
Once the venue is set in stone, I'll announce it, as well as the staff and the screening schedule. Please continue to share any ideas you may have. |

Minna-san, konbanwa!
Well I am going to be in charge of getting all the Yazawa shows for us to watch mainly because I own all her stuff. >.>
So as stated before, I dont think that it should only be about Nana and that we should show all of her shows.
We would start at 10:30 and end it about 5-5:30. Im not too sure about what we should show first or last. But this is my idea.
Last Quarter
Paradise Kiss
Nana
Nana Movie
Not saying that should be the order but basically what we will be showing. The way I have it, is that its in a timeline, but my lovely Parakiss is second. ;-;

Hey everyone,
I'm really excited for this so I figured I should post some of my ideas, ne? I'd really like to help organize this.
I think the celebration should be for Ai Yazawa fandom in general, so cosplayers have more leeway, and that gives a bigger fanbase than just NANA alone. I suppose this is up to tachiki though. ^^
For location I think the West Charleston Library may work since Anime Vegas has good connections with them, and most people know where it is. If not, maybe someone should look in to the China Town meeting room? It is pretty well sized. May be over priced though, I do not know.
NANA day happens to also be tanabata, if you don't know what it is look here. ^_^ I think we should have a tanabata tree for attendees to hang their wishes on.
I don't know if any of these are good ideas, let me know. ^^ |

LoveMika.NET has initiated a cosplay contest for all of the Intl' Nana Day celebrations going on, and so I figured Las Vegas should give it our best go as well.

The winner or said contest will recieve a copy of NANA 2 Special Edition.
Also, we'll need a responsible person (who is not planning on entering the contest) to take photographs of the participants and take down information. If you'd like to help out, feel free to comment here. Also, if you have any questions, you can comment here was well. |
